RBW

RBW Studio · Traditional Metaphysical Readings

The Studio

RBW is a quiet studio devoted to the traditional metaphysical arts. The work at RBW is unhurried, scholarly, and respectful of the long lineages from which each practice descends. We do not predict your future. We help you read the signs that have always been there.

The RBW studio works in three traditions: Astrology, Tarot, and Xiao Liu Ren. Each is approached with discipline and a refusal to dilute the source material into something more marketable. RBW exists for those who take these subjects seriously.

Sessions at RBW are conducted privately, by appointment. The atmosphere is candlelit, the conversation considered, the readings precise.

The Three Practices of RBW

I. Astrology

Natal Chart · Western Tradition

The map of your character, written in the sky at the moment of your birth. At RBW we cast the natal chart and read the placements, aspects, and houses according to classical Western astrological tradition. Astrology does not tell you what will happen; it tells you who you are, how you process the world, and the inherent gifts and challenges you carry.

II. Tarot

Marseille · Rider-Waite-Smith

A symbolic mirror of the present moment. The RBW table lays out the cards in classical spreads — Celtic Cross, three-card, year-ahead — and reads them as a coherent symbolic conversation rather than a string of fortune-cookie meanings. Tarot at RBW reflects the question back to you with greater clarity. Learn more at rbwtarot.com.

III. Xiao Liu Ren

小六壬 · Classical Chinese Divination

An ancient Chinese method of timing and circumstance. Using the hour, day, and month, the practitioner at RBW casts a reading across the six palaces — Da An, Liu Lian, Su Xi, Chi Kou, Xiao Ji, and Kong Wang — to assess the quality of a moment, decision, or undertaking. Spare, fast, and remarkably exact. Learn more at sixrenoracle.com.

Philosophy

The metaphysical traditions at RBW are not entertainment and not therapy. They are old systems of pattern-recognition refined over centuries by serious people. We treat them as such. A reading at RBW is offered as a tool for self-knowledge, not as a substitute for judgment.
